Vegan Gianduja Pie


Gianduja is the Italian word for the magical combo that is chocolate and hazelnut and was an original flavor from our scoop trucks back in 2008. This time we made it vegan and added pieces of gluten free hazelnut shortbread crust to the chocolate hazelnut ice cream and a swirl of fudge. Oh, and if you’ve been wondering how to pronounce Gianduja all these years… it’s jon-doo-ya.



Ingredients:  Cashew milk (filtered water, raw cashews),  coconut cream, cane sugar, hazelnuts, cocoa butter, coconut oil, cocoa powder, tapioca flour, almond flour, brown sugar, Melt vegan butter (coconut oil, canola oil, palm shortening, sunflower oil, flaxseed, lecithin, prosperity butter flavor, annatto, tocopherols) , tapioca syrup, chocolate liquor, corn starch, salt, vanilla extract, salt, carob
